Writing is what I do best. Writing is what I am passionate about. But I have worn other hats. I am a jack of all trades and I do not wish to be a master of just one. I like working on a variety of project within the same timeline as it keeps my interests alive.
I have over 11 years of experience in writing various types of copy - creative, speeches, ad copy, scripts, and articles. I have worked tight deadlines and know the importance of meeting deadlines. I have written contents for company newsletters, websites, official documents, and drafted speeches for senior officials. I also have extensive experience in copy editing and proofreading contents for internal and external communication including memorandums, notices, recruitment advertisements, brochures, and flyers. I'm also a CELTA-certified English trainer.
Well, that's out of the way...here's what I really want to say:
I write best when I have done proper research on the topics I am given. I cannot imagine writing without proper research, at the same time, it must be something that I feel deeply about and connect with (namely, human interest, intellectual, quirky pieces). That said, I still do a decent writing job regardless of the topic because I have set high personal expectations on delivering quality written work.
